  1. Dear Lord they want to build their paradise on earth with the blood of their brethren and neighbors…

    The cost…tears, agony, life interrupted…

  2. Bless these people. It is my hope that those who want to retaliate with violence, choose not to.

The American perspective is so split on this issue, it seems the more educated one is, the more research one reads, the more complicated the situation appears and thus, the more hopeless it all seems. Who will take the high road?

Here’s what puzzles me: I see peace being directly related to no more suicide bombings and rocket attacks on Israel. Am I wrong? Won’t international pressure force Israel into a treaty? Don;t the Israelis want peace and just need to feel no threat from the Palestinians? In the US, this is how Israel is portrayed. We also see them having more control over their actions and it makes me wonder if the Palestinian people would stop violent attacks on Israel even if they got most everything they would want in a peace treaty? As if, the NEED for violence is an inherent part of their culture? I wonder how many Palestinian Fathers feel the same way I do about my daughter? And I wonder how that unconditional love could be focused to transcend Israeli aggression?

I am so saddened by the Palestinian people’s hardship and suffering. Bless you all. Bless the Israelis who have also felt the same suffering.
